Building a brand with Pique

See how Nightcap Burgers and Thrive Studios used Pique to create a restaurant brand from two different cities.

A tale of two cities

Kathryn Wilson wants to build a brand for her new restaurant, so she she reaches out to Thrive Studios. To compensate for the physical distance, they use Pique.

Laying the foundations

Using live session and boards, the team is able to easily build a mood board. This shared aesthetic vision will guide them through the ideation phase.

Getting to work

Using Pique's vector and raster design capabilites, Greg and team being roughing out concepts. Thank to multi-platform support, they can get work done wherever they want.

Pinning up

For their first presentation, the Thrive team brings their concepts back into the mood board. They use smart connections to show where their ideas came from.

Building a system

Once a direction has been established, the team begins building out the design library. This living collection can be updated as needed, keeping everyone on the same page.

Continuous feedback

Thanks to comments and chat, Kathryn and the team are able to provide feedback to one another intuitively and quickly.

Combining efforts

When Kathryn needs a menu design ASAP, everyone comes together for a live design session. They're able to bang it out quickly by designing together in real time.

Refining

Kathryn needs to change the tagline at the last minute. That's fine, because her permissions allow her to edit copy on any design, without having to mess with any design elements. She can do this right from the live item window.

Shipping

When it comes time to deliver, Thrive doesn't need to email a bunch of .zip files to Kathryn. She can access all of the deliverables within Pique's file system. These will be automatically updated if anything changes thanks to version control.

Results

Thanks to Pique, Kathryn and Thrive were able to knock it out the park just as easily as if they had been working in person. And they didn't need to use Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Google Drive, Dropbox, WinRAR, Pinterest, Slack, Gmail, Creative Cloud, ProCreate, and Zoom to to get it done.
